Age Calculator

Works out your exact age in years, months and days from any birthdate, with birth weekday and next birthday.

Your birthdate stays on this device

This tool runs entirely inside your web browser. Your birthdate is processed on your own device and is never sent to our servers. How this works

Your birthdate stays in this box — it is never uploaded or stored.

Counted in whole calendar months from your birthdate, so the parts always add back up to today.

Age Calculator is a free tool that turns any birthdate into an exact age: years, months and days, total days lived, the weekday you were born on, and a countdown to your next birthday. It runs entirely in your browser, so the date stays private.

How to find your exact age

  1. Enter your Birthdate with the date picker — or type it as year-month-day.
  2. Read your Age in years, months and days, plus the Total days lived.
  3. Check Born on for the weekday, and Next birthday for the countdown.
  4. Planning around someone else's milestone? Pair it with the Date Difference tool to count the days between any two dates.

Why leap birthdays need care

A February 29 birthday has no anniversary in common years, and sloppy calculators either crash on it or drift by a day. Here leap days clamp to February 28 outside leap years, whole months are counted before leftover days, and the whole calculation runs in UTC — so time zones can never shift the answer overnight.

Fun facts your age unlocks

Thirty years is about 10,950 days; a million seconds is under twelve days, but a billion seconds is over 31 years. Your total-days figure is the honest version of those party-trivia numbers — and on the big day itself the counter reads whole years with zero months and days, which is exactly right.

Frequently asked questions

How is my exact age calculated?

Full calendar months are counted first from your birthdate, then leftover days, so the years, months and days always add back up to today. The maths runs in UTC, so your time zone cannot shift the result by a day.

What happens with a February 29 birthday?

Leap days clamp to February 28 in non-leap years, so the count never jumps a day. Your next birthday shows February 28 until the next leap year brings February 29 back.

Is my birthdate uploaded anywhere?

No. The date never leaves the input box: the calculation runs in your browser and disappears when you close the page.

Does it count the birthday itself?

Yes. On your birthday the counter reads whole years with zero months and days, and the page wishes you well with a birthday note.
